Established in 1997 as the Entity in charge of the Territorial Pact, the company plays an active role of promotion of the local development through widespread actions to animate the territory. It also plays a role of privileged speaker on behalf of companies in the dialogue with public and private entities. Moreover, the company promotes territorial marketing actions: since 2006 it has become the Agency for the Local Development of the Madonie area and, as such, it has promoted the “Tourist district Cefalù e Parchi delle Madonie e Himera”, realizing the spatial development plan and the related action plan of the District. Together with the local stakeholders, the company has defined the contents of the 6 projects that are part of the Tourism Development Plan. As the district has been acknowledged by the Regional Department for Tourism, the company has also become the representing entity of the District.
