La Forgia Del Gusto Di Cicero Domenico

On highway 286 that connects Cefalu to the Madonie area, passing through Castelbuono, a small cafeteria “La forgia del gusto” ("Forging of taste") is located. It is open all day long so that guests can stop for a break and refreshments enjoying the products of the Sicilian street-food: arancini (fried riceballs), sfincioni (Sicilian pizza with anchovis), panelle (Sicilian fritters made from gram flour), bread with spleen, caponata (chopped cooked vegetables), anelletti al forno (baked pasta with sauce), pizzas in baking trays, meatballs of chopped meat and many other products of the Sicilian gastronomy.
